What is a halo-lit letter?
A halo-lit letter, also called a reverse-lit or reverse channel letter, is a built-up letter with a solid metal face. The LEDs point backwards, towards the wall, so light spills out around the edges and leaves a soft halo behind each letter. We make them to your drawing for the trade.
Face-lit vs halo-lit: what is the difference?
A face-lit letter shines through its acrylic face, so the letter itself glows and reads clearly from a distance. A halo-lit letter keeps a solid face and lights the wall behind it, so the letter shows as a dark shape inside a glow. Halo lighting suits hotels, offices and premium retail.
Which metals and finishes do you make halo-lit letters in?
We make halo-lit letters in stainless steel, brushed, mirror or powder-coated, and in aluminium powder-coated to a RAL colour. We have made premium stainless steel halo-lit letters for projects in the UAE. Put the metal and finish on your drawing and we show it on a free 3D mockup first.
Is there a minimum order, and can I order a sample?
There is no minimum order quantity, so a single halo-lit letter, one sign or a multi-site rollout are all fine. Samples are available at a cost, so you can check the finish, measurements and the halo glow with your own eyes before you commit to a larger order.
How long do halo-lit letters take to reach the UK?
We dispatch 7–8 days after you approve the drawing. Doorstep delivery then takes about 3 days by express or 6–8 days standard. We ship worldwide, and DDP (delivered duty paid) is available, so the letters arrive at your workshop or site without import duty to sort out on arrival.
