Questions from US sign shops
Do you make wholesale channel letters for US sign shops?
Yes. We fabricate channel letters to your drawing for US sign shops, sign companies and fabricators who want to outsource the build: face-lit, halo-lit, rimless, stainless steel, aluminum and acrylic. They ship DDP to your shop or job site. There is no minimum order, and samples are available at a cost.
Which types of channel letters do you fabricate?
Face-lit letters with a trim cap (rim and return) or trimless (rimless), halo-lit reverse channel letters, back-lit and unlit letters, and RGB LED logo signs. Returns are aluminum or 316 stainless steel; stainless comes brushed, mirror polished or PVD colored, and aluminum is powder-coated to your RAL color.
Do your channel letters carry a UL listing?
No. ALFA channel letters do not carry a UL listing at present, and we do not hold ETL or CSA certification either. If your job, landlord or local code needs a listed sign, ask us before you order, so you know where we stand on that job before you commit.
How long do channel letters take to reach the US?
We dispatch 7–8 days after drawing approval, then delivery takes about 3 days express or 6–8 days standard: roughly 10–16 days door to door. The clock starts when you approve the drawing, so send it as early as your install date allows.
Who pays US import duty and customs on a DDP order?
We do. Under DDP we handle shipping, customs clearance and import duty to your door. Give us the delivery address with your drawing and the DDP price we quote for that address covers it. Our DDP price includes shipping, customs clearance, import duty and import taxes, so there's nothing extra to pay on delivery.
What if something arrives damaged?
If anything arrives damaged in delivery, we replace it at no cost to you. Just send us photos.
Which LEDs do you use, and can the letters go outdoors?
We use Samsung LED modules. Outdoor illuminated signs are built to IP65 for outdoor use. Tell us where the letters will be installed, and we plan the build and power supply for that site.
What warranty do you give on illuminated letters?
We give a 5-year warranty on the LEDs and the power supply in our illuminated letters. If an LED or the power supply fails within those 5 years, we ship you the replacement part, and your installer fits it. To report a fault, message us on WhatsApp at +91 8707098466 or email sheikh@alfasignage.com.
What should I send for a wholesale quote?
